More CWP Promotion?

Post  progmetaldan on Thu Jan 15, 2009 11:09 am

Hey fellas, perhaps a suggestion as much as a question, but have you considered selling the album through a website such as www.abstractlogix.com ?

Its a fantastic site, and it would probably open up more of a market as people who are into progressive/fusion/world/rock are always searching on there for similar stuff, and you can get Planet X, and Hellborg/Lane/Sipe and CAB and Brett Garsed and all sorts on there.

This page has the necessary info: http://www.abstractlogix.com/contact_form.php?type=sellcd

BTW, I don't work there, I just buy a lot from there, and its excellent. Laughing

I buy most of my cds from a place called The Laser's Edge: www.lasercd.com
It's a really good store that seems to stock the same kinda stuff and has Interactive. They also give it a pretty good wrap, which it deserves. Laughing
But yeah the more places you can distribute stuff the better.

Thanks for the info Dan. I had looked into Abstract when the the CD first came out, but didn't end up going with it at the time. I'm going to be doing a lot more promotion this year, so I'll add it to the list. Cheers.

Actually yeah, lasercd would be another good one, and maybe even guitar9... I guess the more places that you're gonna get potentially interested people looking at it, the better, and this album deserves to get more recognition.
